The Challenge

Ready for School, Ready for Life is an organization in Greensboro, North Carolina focused on early education and childhood literacy. They were interested in launching a campaign geared toward getting parents and educators to participate in active reading. While Ready for School, Ready for Life had established branding, Beekeeper Group assisted in establishing an independent look and feel for the campaign. It was important for the branding to span different languages, socioeconomic backgrounds, and literacy levels.

The Approach & Solution

Beekeeper Group began by assessing the specific audiences, goals, and needs of the campaign. Through stakeholder conversations, landscape research, and strategic problem-solving, we created a visual identity that was specifically tailored to our target audience and reflected the unique goals of the campaign. The visual identity relied on illustrations, colors, and images that were simple but conveyed the act of active reading in a way that transcended language. The campaign branding was deployed in North Carolina in conjunction with the campaign launch.

The Results

Currently, the campaign branding has been launched and is used alongside the Active Reading Campaign initiative.

It’s been a pleasure working with the Beekeeper Group team on our efforts to share active reading with the Greater Guilford community. They captured our vision and so much more. We couldn’t wait to share these assets with our stakeholders.
